This Privacy Policy describes how Ascend One("Ascend One") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Ascend One platform.
1. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email, date of birth, password hash.
- Athlete profile data: school, position, measurables, photos, social handles.
- Coach endorsements: coach name, title, school, email, testimonial.
- Usage data: page views, device type, IP address, referrers.
2. How we use information
To operate the platform, surface profiles to college and high-school coaches you authorize, verify endorsements, prevent abuse, and improve the product.
3. Sharing
Your public profile is visible only at the share links you generate. We do not sell personal information. We share data with infrastructure sub-processors (database hosting, email delivery, analytics) under contract.
4. Minors
Ascend One is intended for athletes 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Parents who believe their child under 13 has signed up should email legal@getascendone.com.
5. Your rights
You can access and update your profile in-app, and permanently delete your account from More → Delete account. Residents of certain regions have additional rights (access, portability, deletion, opt-out of sale). Contact us to exercise these rights.
6. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong unique password.
7. Retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Upon deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
